PK.Denpasar – Pangdam IX/Udayana General Major TNI Sonny Aprianto, S.E., M.M., as Commander of the Regional Security Task Force with Kasdam IX/Udayana General Brigadier TNI Sachono, S.H., M.Si., as Commander of the Evacuation Task Force for the G20 Summit carried out the final check of the Special Task Force Troops from Kodam IX/Udayana, on Monday (7/11/2022) at Praja Raksaka Field, Kepaon, South Denpasar.
In his briefing, Pangdam IX/Udayana said that starting today the Soldiers of Kodam IX/Udayana will carry out a big task and carry out their duties with full responsibility and high dedication. “I believe that the soldiers of Kodam IX/Udayana have self-respect, so they carry out this task with a full sense of responsibility,” the Commander hoped.
This morning, a check of each other’s readiness was carried out and in the afternoon there will be a troop title ceremony in relation to the Mabes TNI, which is led directly by Panglima TNI. Therefore, Pangdam asked all soldiers to be ready with all their equipment, because after the title ceremony was carried out all personnel had entered positions according to the Task Force organization.
“All personnel involved must know and master the field according to the assignment and not leave the post which is their responsibility. Because this is an operational activity which is an honor for Kodam IX/Udayana to secure the implementation of the G20 Summit,” said the Pangdam.
Pangdam also said that during the G20 Summit Security, troops from Kodam IX/Udayana were deployed as many as 5,000 personnel who were members of the Regional Security and the Evacuation Task Force.
On this occasion and for successful implementation of the G20 Summit international event, Pangdam appealed to the public, especially the people in Bali, that this event is a gamble for the nation’s pride.
“All elements and all components to be able to jointly succeed in the implementation of the G20 Presidency. The rules that have been made should not be interpreted differently, because all of these are for the smoothness and success of the G20,” concluded the Pangdam. (Pendam IX/Udy)
